Saturday night’s baseball game between Arizona State and Washington State took an awesome turn during the bottom of the sixth inning.

WSU pitcher Layne Bruner misplaced a pitch up and in towards ASU outfileder Johnny Sewald and plunked him in the back. However, rather than let the ball hit the floor and taking his base like a regular dude, Sewald managed to snag the ball off his back and toss it back towards Bruner like a stone-cold boss.

It was a move that definitely earned accolades from the announcers at the game as well as online via the Pac-12 Network’s Twitter account.

Sewald’s move may have rocked the internet but ASU won the game by a score of 6-5 in the eleventh inning thanks to a walk-off hit by ASU’s Andrew Snow.
