In case you didn’t know, Toronto Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri is basically a wizard. Since ditching the Denver Nuggets last summer and moving north of the border, Ujiri has managed to accomplish a feat that nobody thought possible: he unloaded both Andrea Bargnani (Knicks) and Rudy Gay (Kings). Even after all the moving and shaking, the Raptors probably aren’t going anywhere this season (although, I suppose anything is possible in the sorry Eastern Conference), but everyone in Toronto is on board with Ujiri’s plan — including Tim & Sid of Sports Net Canada, who paid homage to the Raptors’ leader with a parody of R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly”.
Also, double props for parodying a song that is associated with a basketball movie.
