Jim Rome’s new television show Jim Rome on Showtime will debut its season premiere on Wednesday but a clip of Rome and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has already been posted.
In the clip, Rome asks Gronk to describe his perfect wife and Gronk’s answer is probably about as Gronk as it gets.
Basically, Gronk wants to marry a weird hybrid of a stereotypical 1950’s housewife and a brotastic buddy:
“Cleans, cooks, makes big cash, stays at home, lets me do whatever I want.”
And later:
“Very nice, kind, everything, beautiful – just has it all.”
After Rome understandably wonders “who’s going to sign up for that shit,” the audience let be known that there are plenty of women who would “sign up for that shit” if that man is Rob Gronkowski.
