ESPN gets a lot of crap for not giving hockey the same amount of love as the other big four sports, but they did something really awesome on last night’s edition of SportsCenter.
Instead of just rolling the standard highlight reel footage of Friday’s Kings-Canadiens game, ESPN got creative and turned it into a ‘NHL 94’ package – complete with theme music, sound effects, graphics and, yes, even blue ice. It was amazing.
