Boise State wide receiver Shane Williams-Rhodes is only listed at 5’6, 160 lbs, making him one of the smaller receivers in Division I college football and susceptible to some serious punishment at the hands of much bigger defenders. Ole Miss safety Cody Prewitt (6’2, 217) was more than willing to deliver that punishment late in the first half of Thursday’s season-opener.

To Williams-Rhodes’ credit, he held onto the ball and popped right back up after getting leveled, which is impressive as hell. As a small guy myself, this makes me pretty glad I never played football. I’d probably by sippin’ meals through a tube for the rest of my days.
