The Los Angeles Kings have one of the most popular Twitter accounts in sports (and for good reason) but they may have finally met their match in the New York Rangers’ social media team.

After defeating the Blackhawks in overtime of Game 7 to win the Western Conference, the Kings posted the above photo (from Home Alone 2: Lost In New York) to Twitter with the caption “Cruzin’ to the airport like”…a boastful tweet that they certainly earned with their performance in the WCF.

However, the Rangers – who await the Kings in the upcoming Stanley Cup Final – account decided not to wait until Game 1 on Wednesday to fire the first shot in the series. Their response to the Kings’ tweet was quite clever:

That, my friends, is what we like to call “a perfect comeback.” The Rangers have taken an early lead in the series thanks to their witty social media team, but – considering we’re still a few days away from the first game – I wouldn’t count the Kings out just yet.
