As far as official sports team Twitter accounts go, the Los Angeles Kings’ social media team is one of the best in the business. Not only do they find unique and creative ways to interact with fans on the social platform, they’re also pretty great at using humor and wit to respond to those who oppose them.

Those opponents aren’t always limited to other NHL clubs, either. For example, one Canucks fan by the name of Seth Kosmach decided to call out the Kings on Monday for having a similar rally slogan to one the Vancouver Canucks have used in the past.

That might have been a bad idea on Seth’s part because shortly thereafter the Kings decided to put him in his place by reminding him that his favorite team isn’t playing hockey these days.

Talk about an absolutely perfect one-punch counterattack.

Kings 1, Seth Kosmach 0.
