Jordan Jefferson Apologizes On Facebook Page For His Performance in BCS Title Game… Sort Of

Jordan Jefferson of LSU took the brunt of criticism following his poor performance in the BCS National Title game loss to Alabama.  Today, Jordan Jefferson took to his Facebook page to address some of his critics.  He responded with what seemed like a genuine apology, but also threw a quick jab at the boo-birds.

We can’t say with 100% that this is Jordan Jefferson’s ‘verified’ Facebook page, but all signs do point to it.

LOL This guy is supposed to be a fifth year college senior???? Hey Jordan, try “my time HERE”

  • Mac

You don’t get all the blame, NO WAY (your coaches could have called BETTER plays). But it is big of you, not only the apology, but how you handled yourself once you knew you would lose. It’s hard to lose, most don’t take it well. You’re a class act.

    • http://gsm1955@yahoo.com JJ

A class act ? Seriously ? A guy who stomped a US military man in the head, while he was down ? A low life thug in my book.

  • Eric mcHugh

There’s an LSU education in action for you; it’s HERE you moron, not HEAR. Who said the SEC doesn’t have student-athletes?

    • ad

Hey Mr. Professor of English. You ever send a message from your phone that messes up some words??

right- it was probably coachless miles!!!

  • birddown

    Mac,

a Class Act, really???? Ask the solider he assualted about that,

  • Tony

Hey Mac, class acts don’t kick people when they’re down..

  • ThePowerWire

Agree with Mac. Jefferson shouldn’t get all the blame and he doesn’t deserve to think he should take all the blame. Poor kid, keep your head up. Linked at my site http://www.thepowerwire.com

    Who cares?

  • gerald odell

Both Al. and Lsu better be glad they weren’t playing OSU.

    • luke skywalker

Well I don’t Jefferson or Lee they did the best they could being given poor talent developement by the LSU coaching staff. They provided these guys with a poor game plan.

  • johnpaddy

OSU would have been embarrassed by either one. If you can’t beat Iowa St. What make you think you can beat Alabama or LSU?

  • Youidiots

Im a college athlete myself that stays by a military base and for all of you dumb shits that want to talk about him stomping a military guys head in most of the confrontations between military personel and athletes are caused by them and not us. You dont know what happened prior so why dont you go judge yourself instead of trying to critisize a man in a position you could only dream of being in. And I say good shit for him to appologize for his performance and the rest of his team should do the same because none of them performed good. Including his coaching staff.

  • Jabroni

This guys can apologize if he really wants to…but that entire team got manhandled, not just him. He shouldn’t bear the full load of guilt.

  • Tbone

The facebook page showed proof that Jefferson is dumb as a brick. Leaving him in the game shows that Les Miles is dumb as a brick. Lee deserves the apology. Live by the ghetto thug, die by the ghetto thug.

Get them both outta Baton Rouge.

    • HornDogg

“Tbone” calling someone else a thug? HAHAHAHA! Classic. a real keyboard gangsta in here. Look OUT! As for Jefferson stomping a soldier? As a VET, if the soldier started it, mouthed off talking trash after being drunk (all too common) or plain old couldn’t handle his own he should have left the liquid courage alone and walked. End of story. The entire team bears the fault but as stated I think this isn’t his primary page… look at the number of “Likes”. Do your homework before you put your foot in your mouth people…. WOW!

Soldier or not, if you start talking trash you best back it up. Because it AIN’T about patriotic when it comes to defending yourself from ANYONE. Soldiers included.

  • Jefferyd530

To me don`t matter what any small talk arises after what was done and what shoulda been done!!! Its all about what got done!!! The Crimson Tide shut down a powerful offense… hit there field goals and scored points that were needed to win the National Championship!! Shut up and sit down bitches!! Alabama is The National Champions Babe!!

  • TIM

Can you say KARMA…. He got a beating by bama… not with 4+ friends in a Parking lot..
this guy is a loser… will not amount to anything because his attitude sucks..

  • bama for life

He takes the brunt because he’s the quarterback. I also think that people need to hold off judgement on the fight because we know that sometimes our military personal can get out of line and they think they’re unbeatable. You get drunk and say things out of your mouth, you get your a** beat. Patriot or not. It kills me why we put people down and don’t know them.

  • twill

everyime an athlete gets in trouble with the law they have to be a thug. if somebody is mouthing off military or not everybody in here would defend themselves. just because these people are in the military doesn’t mean we have to treat them like gods because they fight for our country. and with the training he gets in the military he shouldn’t have gotten beat up by jefferson at all………just saying!!!!

  • J.O.

First of all, the idiot was out at bar past curfew, than there was an issue w a guy and a waitress, and the bouncers were kicking him out and big bas ass Jefferson took it upon himself to jump him and kick him while he was down…. The bouncers had it under control and it was none of his business to get involved, so he’s the f*$*$@# idiot who didn’t deserve to play at all this year…
I am a huge LSU fan and am disgusted w/ Miles play calling and QB choice…. Jefferson has always sucked and always will!!!! The rest of the team did great, Jefferson had enough time to throw, but when he did he screwed that up, he’s just a failure and I’m embarresed that he reprsesented #1 LSU…

  • TannyB

I am not shocked about the fight because when all people have some or too much to drink in a big crowd that is bound to happen. But, what I am most surprised and disappointed in is the “marine” could not handle himself against a football player. And both Jefferson and said marine both had friends with them. But, the fact that you are a marine and you let just a college athlete with no special training or skills (as you all seen in the BCS game) beat you down and kick you. I am more concerned with the training of our marines, and yes I am very serious. I think that should be addressed with our military.

    • Jeremiah

TannyB, you just proved twills comment about treating the military like gods.
That’s some of the stupidest logic I have ever heard. Just because someone is in the military doesn’t mean ANYTHING. You piss the wrong guy off, that special training ain’t gonna save you. I appreciate what the military does, mainly soldiers who have seen combat, but they are HUMAN just like anyone else.
Another point. The Army goes to boot camp for a couple months, the Marines a few weeks longer. There are plenty of civilian “weaklings” like me that have been trained how to fight, and a lot longer than 2 months.
Bottom line is, you don’t mess with the wrong person, military or not.

  • luke skywalker

Don’t blame Jefferson or Lee, I do think Lee was used and thrown under the bus by Miles

  • AD

You morons actually think he posted that???? Come on people!!! Get over it and lets move on and not affect next year’s team and lose recruits because they are seeing how some LSU fans act list asses!!!

    • AD

      like not list-damn Iphone!!!
