After all of the trade action from last week, came the NBA buyouts of this week with Troy Murphy being the most coveted of the bunch. Over the past 2 days, Murphy has been recruited hard by the top two teams in the east, but the 6′ 10” forward has decided to take his talents to Boston over South Beach.
Murphy was focused on joining a team that can take him deep into the playoffs as he has played in more games (639) than any other active player without appearing in the post season. Is this that other shoe dropping that Celtics fans were waiting for?
