It looked liked Tiger Woods suddenly forgot about his divorce and his back pain and all the media scrutiny, because he shot a 65 on Friday to take a share of the lead at the Wyndham Championship with Tom Hoge after 36 holes in Greensboro, North Carolina. He followed up a 64 in the first round with a strong performance in the second to play in the final group on a weekend. This hasn’t happened since the Bridgestone Invitational in 2013. Oh yeah, he won that by the way. So let’s look back at his best shots of the day.

It looked like a regular day for Tiger as he opened with a bogey and shot a 34 on the front nine. He picked it up in a big way when he dropped back-to-back birdies on holes No. 12 and 13 and followed that up with an eagle, yes an eagle, on No. 15 to tie Hoge.
He had no idea who the dude whom he was tied with by the way, which is kind of disrespectful. All he could talk about was not knowing any of his competitors as he relived his glory days on the Champions Tour.

Funny because he usually loses to most of those guys at those “smaller events.”
