Every Thursday I will be posting a quick hit called “Throwback Thursday.” The idea is to revisit a moment in sports, tech, or hijinx that made a lasting impression on my memory.
I will start with one from Game 6 of the Bulls/Knicks playoff series in 1994. I was born in South Bend, IN in 1984 and lived there until around 1998. Both sides of my family hailed from Chicago, and as such I spent a good amount of time there. The throwback moment, which I remember like it was yesterday, is Scottie Pippen’s beastly dunk over Patrick Ewing, which he followed up with a forearm and stepping directly over him. I’ll let the video do the talking.
