The Colts’ Eric Foster got his foot trapped under another lineman tonight and it wasn’t pretty. It looked like a very badly broken leg, yet early reports from the Colts are that it is a dislocated or broken ankle. He has been taken to hospital, where he will stay overnight for observations. On his way off on the cart, he was trying to pump up his team in between hits of smelling salts. An absolute trooper. Coach Jim Caldwell said after the game that the Colts DT will have surgery on his ankle, effectively ending his year. The operation is expected to end his season.
