A very interesting sequence of events went down last night during a MLS game between the Vancouver Whitecaps and New England Revolution. Eric Hassli took a penalty kick 55 minutes into a 0-0 game, he made the penalty netting the Whitecaps a 1-0 lead, however he followed it up by taking off his jersey (he was wearing two) and threw it into the stands for a lucky fan. Eric didn’t think it fully through as he already had a yellow card, shortly after the ref gave Hassli his second yellow resulting in a red and ejection. The match ended 1-1
