In a Final Four presser this week, Kentucky junior and emotional leader DeAndre Liggins was asked how this Kentucky team and their freshman stars compare to last year’s Kentucky team with it’s trio of freshman studs: John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe. Liggins commented that last year, there weren’t enough balls to go around:
“Last year’s freshmen were great freshmen,” Liggins said, according to Rick Bozich of the Courier-Journal. “But I just think, personally, too many egos. Everybody wanted to be the man.
“This year, everybody doing their role and everybody knows what they gotta to in order for us to win.”
The Kentucky Wildcats face red hot Kemba Walker and the UCONN Huskies this weekend for a ticket to the national championship game.
