Yoav Ziv is going to rethinking kicking his cleats at refs in the future. During a Europa League match in which Stoke C. defeater Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-0, Ziv had his shoe stepped on by a defender which caused it to fall off. Dismayed that he didn’t get a call from a linesman who was a few yards away he kicked the cleat at the ref which he was able to deflect before hitting his body. Ziv immediately knew he did wrong and tried to apologize and claim it was by accident. Too late, red card.
