You may or may not have been watching that game oh so many years ago when Duke’s star player (and Dream Team waste of roster space) Christian Laettner caught a full-court inbound pass and hit the jumper to beat Kentucky. If you were watching (and are anything like me) you hated that.
As it turns out, a West Virginia high school team named the Poca Dots beat rival Scott the other night by using the exact same play.
Noah Frampton received the pass from Matt Chandler and then hit the turnaround fade away jumper. Welcome to internet fame, boys!
