Two California high schools, West Ranch and Alemany squared off on Thursday night but there was quite the delay thanks to West Ranch’s 6-foot-8 Ako Kaluna. With 3:10 left in the first quarter Ako threw down a put-back dunk and the backboard shattered into thousand of pieces of glass. It should be noted that he also drew a foul on the play.Haluna was asked about the dunk following the game and he simply stated “it was awesome.”
