On the birthday of all-time Texas State legend Andre ‘Sinbad’ Krimm reports surfaced today that Texas State, along with Texas-San Antonio and University of Denver, will join the Western Athletic Conference. Needless to say this is the biggest new in Texas State football since the huge win over the #1 ranked Texas Colts on a miraculous two-point conversion by legendary quarterback Paul ‘Scott Bakula’ Blake. Moving to the WAC will be a big step up for the 4-5 Armadillos Bobcats after tough losses to Southeast Louisiana, Central Arkansas and Northwestern State [Editor’s note: That one is made up and from a movie, right? You can’t have a direction with no state it has to be fake].
No word on if Kathy Ireland has any remaining eligibility but we’re keeping our fingers crossed:
