With 2014 almost in the books, Google has released its findings of the year’s most-searched terms.
Unsurprisingly, when it comes to athletes, soccer reigns supreme. The world’s most popular sport accounted for half of the top ten (having the World Cup take place in 2014 probably helped a bit as well). No baseball players or basketball players ranked in the top ten, despite it being the Year of Re2pect and LeBron’s much-hyped return to Cleveland.
Flip on through the slideshow to see who piqued the world’s curiosity in 2014.
