Not only is Kelly Slater one of the best surfers of all-time, but he is also one of the best at avoiding life-threatening wipe-outs. But that doesn’t mean the man who defies aging isn’t going to take a beating every now and then.
The latest example of that happened at the main break at Margaret River this week when Kelly failed to drop in on a massive bomb. The result was what you see in the video. Unfortunately for Kelly during the contest he was eliminated in the semi-finals by Adriano De Souza.
