It seems like the only time we hear about a drag racer is when there is a massive crash, and this time is no exception.
Check out driver Larry Dixon lose control of his dragster as it exploded and did an entire flip before slamming into the track wall. Miraculously, Larry walked away from the crash with no severe injuries. After watching the replay a few times, I think it would be best if Larry went out and immediately purchased a lottery ticket.
The crash occurred at Saturday’s first qualifying session at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.
