According to website Mlive.com, Detroit Lions QB, Shaun Hill accused the Patriots of trying to re-break his left arm during a QB sneak play on Thanksgiving. During the second quarter play on the Patriots 2 yard line, Hill tried to extend for the touchdown. He had suffered the injury to his non throwing arm five weeks ago against the New York Giants. During the play, in the pig pile, Hill literally felt Patriots players trying to twist and turn his arm at the joint to re-break it.
According to Hill:
That’s why I eventually gave up the ball. Somebody was down there [in the pile] literally trying to break my arm, which is already broken. Literally, trying. And, uh, y’know, I guess [it] wasn’t seen [by officials].
The Patriots had no comment.
