Bryan College student Gustavo Angel Tamayo managed to do many impressive things within half-a-minute. He was able to get up in gym full of people and, with all eyes on him, bury a lay-up, a free throw, a three-pointer and half-court shot. In doing all of that in 30 seconds, he won $10,000 in tuition money. Oh, did I mention that he doesn’t even play basketball?

Unbelievably, Bryan College student Gustavo Angel Tamayo, who grew up in England, beat the odds and won himself some tuition money. It is even more remarkable considering he is a soccer player who has never played basketball before.

You know what’s even more unbelievable? The fact that he hit four increasingly difficult shots in 30 seconds, without basketball experience and a broken finger.

“It’s just football [soccer], that’s all I do,” Tamayo said, per Ellis Smith of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. “And I had a broken finger on my left hand.”

Yeah, miracles do happen.
