A sports team holding a ‘$1 Beer Night’ seems like a serious display of trust in their fan base, but apparently it’s a pretty regular promotion held by the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. On Wednesday night, the Cyclones paired the wonderful booze bonanza with ‘Seinfeld Night’ to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary sitcom.
Even though the Cyclones lost 4-2 to the Elmira Jackals, it appeared that their promotion was wildly successful, if this photo is any indication:

Hockey, beer and Seinfeld are three of my very favorite things in the entire world, so I’m extremely disappointed that I wasn’t tipped off to this promotion in time to make the road trip.
