The Bruins’ Daniel Paille took a slap shot right on his visor from the Islanders’ Steve Staios which was a very scary moment. Paille was bleeding heavily and had to leave the game with just over three minutes into the third period. The Boston Bruins defeated the New York Islanders 6-2 thanks to a pair of goals and three points from Nathan Horton.
