During the finals of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, Maria Sharapova took a short break during a timeout to catch her breath against opponent Carla Suárez Navarro. As the cameras panned to her, you could see a ball boy appear behind her, and a few seconds later he hit the dirt extremely hard.
The young man had tripped over a flower planter, and as he got back up he immediately looked at Maria to see if she had noticed the embarrassing moment.
Luckily she didn’t catch the fall, and he was able to give her shade with the umbrella he was going for relatively unscathed.
