Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, famously known as the physically imposing specimen ‘The Mountain’ on HBO’s Game of Thrones television show, recently challenged two-time arm wrestling champion Devon Larratt to an arm wrestling contest.
Despite the fact that Björnsson has about four inches and nearly 200 pounds on Larratt, the strongman-turned-actor didn’t find much success in his battle with Devon. Granted, Larrett’s technique seemed much smoother than Björnsson’s, as should be expected in these sorts of things. Still, the ease with which Larrett was able to leverage his strength to beat Björnsson multiple times is pretty impressive.
