Three-time World Champion surfer, Andy Irons, died today at the young age of 32. Sources say Irons was battling dengue fever and was on his way back from Puerto Rico when he passed. Billabong, a sponsor of Andy’s made the following statement on their website:
“Andy was one of the greatest surfers of our time. More than that, he was a much loved son, a devoted husband and a soon-to- be father.”
Our prayers go out to Andy’s family, friends and everyone he inspired.
