As a part of a heartwarming social experiment put on by Airbnb, Anastasia Ashley recently took to the waves to offer strangers hot chocolate and some company.
Ashley’s video is a part of the #OneLessStranger campaign put on by Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky. Chesky split $1 million between 100,000 individuals and asked them to go out and use the $10 to perform a random act of kindness for strangers.
So, Anastasia brought some surfers some much appreciated hot chocolate and took some time out of her day to get to know their stories and experiences as well. The gesture is incredibly simple and yet it’s very touching to see. After all, who wouldn’t want to get to know someone over a warm beverage while out in the serene (but oh so cold) waves?
The #OneLessStranger campaign is all about making the world a more friendly place. As Anastasia shows, sometimes all that takes is some conversation and hot cocoa.
