Albert Haynesworth isn’t in the mood to talk to Mike Shanahan and he definitely isn’t happy about the rumors swirling about the illness that limited him in practice last week. Mr. Haynesworth appeared Monday night on “106.7 The Fan” and said a report that he was hung over at practice last week was a lie that was leaked by “some kind of haters in the organization.”
Haynesworth confirmed he was limited at practice because he was sick and that he was also late for a meeting. But he said that was no reason to make him inactive for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. As far as meeting with Shanahan, Haynesworth said it’ll have to wait at least a day. He said he’s too upset to go to Redskins Park on Tuesday.
Albert needs a new P.R. person.
