Former U.S. President Donald Trump became the first former president to ever be convicted of a crime earlier this week. But it seems like Trump isn’t all that concerned about the guilty verdict, as he took some time to enjoy UFC 302 on Saturday night.
Trump, who was found guilty on Thursday of all 34 charges against him in his hush-money case, didn’t go too far from where he was convicted, traveling just ten miles on Saturday to watch the main card of UFC 302 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The 2024 presidential hopeful came out alongside UFC President Dana White to watch the main card festivities, receiving an applause from some in attendance. Trump went on to shake the hands of all of the UFC commentary team, consisting of Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, and former UFC Champion Daniel Cormier.

Trump has always been a big fan of the UFC, frequently attending events of the promotion over the years. Dana White has even praised Trump for helping out the promotion during the dark ages of MMA where very few venues would commit to hosting MMA fights.
All of the controversy surrounding Trump has to be weighing on him at this point. So it makes sense to see him taking some time for himself and enjoying the highly anticipated fight card, headlined by a lightweight championship fight between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier.
