Some Mardi Gras revelers — and apparent word scramble experts — may have just pulled off the most meta heist in recent memory. It was discovered Tuesday morning that four letters from the Loyola Marymount University sign — “L”, “O”, “Y”, “O” — were lifted overnight. Of course, when rearranged, those letters spell out “YOLO”. School officials are chalking it up to being a “victim of Mardi Gras”, as evident by the oversized Mardi Gras necklace calling card.
As if stealing “YOLO” wasn’t enough, one of the thieves went full YOLO, bragging on Twitter of his late night exploits:
