Carmageddon, the most overhyped piece of nonsense begins this Saturday. If you’ve been leaving under a rock for the past month, Carmageddon is the name being given to the two-day shutdown of the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles as part of the Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project. Jetblue has stepped up to provide assistance to travelers who want to stay off the road and instead would prefer to fly around LA. From now until July 16th, JetBlue is offering $4 flights as part of their “CAR-MAGEDDON FLY-OVER” promotion that will take you to and from Long Beach and Burbank. If you want an “Even More Seat” space ticket it will cost you a $1 extra, or $5.
