On Tuesday, Serena Williams dispatched her sister Venus in the US Open in three sets to advance to the semi-finals of the U.S. Open.
The match between the two tennis titans was a bit subdued at first but it quickly became a competitive match (well, about as competitive a match as there can be with Serena Williams). Serena took the first set and Venus took the second before Serena ran away with the decisive third set.
The two shared an amazingly touching moment after the match as Venus happily congratulated Serena on her victory.

On Wednesday, Serena continued the theme of sibling love by taking to Instagram and posting this beautiful message about Venus.
Serena’s next opponent in the U.S. Open will be the unseeded Roberta Vinci. She is currently trying to complete a single-season Grand Slam, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished by a woman since Steffi Graf did it in 1988.
