About a week ago we showed you the video of a guy supposedly hacking the big screens in Time Square to play video from his iPhone. The video was a hoax, put together for the purpose of going viral to promote the movie Limitless. An entrepreneur pumping his product, TubeMote, is trying to ride the wave by using his platform to demonstrate how you can legitimately display video over the internet and onto larger displays. I would not call this a hack by any means, although most of the web is treating it as such. Hell, I’ll fly out to New York right now, plug in my Apple TV to the jumbotron, and stream porno using AirPlay to really get peoples’ attention. No hacking necessary.
