The Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau was on for Thursday, and there way too many highlights throughout the day. One of those highlights was actually a wipe-out by Mason Ho, who was annihilated by a 40-foot plus wave during the second round. Check out the absolutely massive bomb which Mason took off on and came so close to sticking the landing.

Every single competitor is absolutely insane.
The other highlight of note was Kelly Slater grabbing the only clean barrel of the day, because he is Kelly Slater.
