It’s been leaked for a few months, but the United States Men’s National Team finally made the unveil of their home kit for the upcoming World Cup official on Monday. You can find that jersey – designed by Nike – above.
The initial reaction from many hasn’t been too positive. The general opinion seems to be that the kits are too plain and bland, one that I am inclined to agree with.
But, hey, at least they’ve got a cool design with the country’s crest and slogan (“One Nation. One Team”) inside the numbers and names on the back. Oh wait, that only shows up under UV Light…so it’s basically useless unless the World Cup decides to host a Cosmic round under blacklight.
I guess now it’s just time to wonder if those crazy rumored away kits are legit…
