Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny playfully trolled Tottenham Hotspurs fans today by getting a little sinister on the keys.
To celebrate Arsenal’s win over Spurs in the North London Derby, the Pole played the tune of “O When The Saints Go Marching In” and then uploaded it to his Facebook page.
The History behind the Song:
The song is sacred to Spurs fans, who sing, “O When The Spurs Go Marching In” in unison at White Hart Lane. It is a pretty cool sight to watch thousands of drunk North Londoners slowly build up to the frantic climax of the song after a Spurs goal.
It also is not the first time Arsenal has used the song to mock their fierce rivals. Back in 2004 Arsenal captured the League Title at White Hart Lane, and now Gunner fans remind Spurs fans of that by singing “We Won The League At White Hart Lane” to the same tune.
