Apparently the referees are pretty lenient over in South Africa. In a match between the Kaizer Chiefs and the Bidvest Wits in the South African Premier League one player got a little punchy. Midway through the second half, Chiefs player Morgan Gould unleashed a nasty punch on Wits striker Getaneh Kebede which sent him flailing to the ground. Despite the referee looking squarely at the two waring players the official didn’t hand out any cards. The Kaiser Chiefs went on to knock out the Wits by the score of 2-1.
