Gabriel Murta elected to settle an on-field dispute during a Brazilian soccer match in terrifying fashion. The referee was officiating an amateur match between Amantes da Bola and Brumandinho when players became angered after he issued a red card. According to the Guardian, Murta was kicked and punched by a player on Amante da Bola, leading him to pull out a gun.
He is a full-time police officer but it’s still odd that he would carry a gun during a match.
