Ella Masar hasn’t had the easiest life. Her father passed away unexpectedly and her mother suffers from mental illness. Still, the Houston Dash forward handles the difficult obstacles thrown her way with tremendous grace.
Masar opened up to Purpose 2 Play about these difficulties, as well as her love for wife and teammate Erin McLeod, in an extremely moving video.
The couple are the first in professional sports to be married and on the same team.
