Manchester United winger Ashley Young could not suit up when his side played Newcastle on Sunday due to a knee injury, but that didn’t stop him from making the trip to watch Man U’s 3-0 victory. Young didn’t sit with the team or in the executive suites, however, he decided to slum it with the fans in the away section at St. James’ Park.
Young kept a low profile during the match, wearing a hooded jacket, but according to fans, he did sign some autographs and pose for pictures.
It’s not everyday you see one of the biggest stars for one of the most popular clubs in the world sitting among the fans in the nosebleeds, and this guy (pictured below) was clearly surprised to discover that is was indeed Ashley Young sitting next to him.
