There has been a lot of tension online surrounding to two most prominent significant others of Kansas City Chiefs players.
Pop icon Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have differing political views that threatened their relationship with each other.
Brittany has shown support online for the Republican presidential nominee in the upcoming November election, Donald Trump and Trump even thanked her personally for her support. Swift made an Instagram post with a lengthy caption detailing her endorsement of the Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris.
Many feared the political split drove a wedge between the two when they started sitting in different suites when attending Chiefs games.
The two have officially put the public’s fears to rest.
In a moment captured Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium, during the Chiefs game against the New Orleans Saints, a pregnant Brittany Mahomes was spotted rushing up to Swift for a hug, which was reciprocated by the pop star.

The two clearly aren’t letting their differences tear them apart, which is especially important with all the divisiveness in the country right now.
The Chiefs have a bye week upcoming, meaning they have the weekend off. Hopefully, the free time will allow Swift and Mahomes to spend even more time together.
