Former President Donald Trump speaks during the Lincoln Dinner on Friday, July 28, 2023, at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. Syndication: USA TODAY

Former United States President Donald Trump has been busy the past few months as he navigates the several serious legal battles he and his company are facing, but he still found the time to attend a major sporting event this weekend alongside a few other prominent individuals

On Saturday, Donald Trump attended UFC 295 along with his adult son Donald Trump Jr., musician Kid Rock, and conservative media personality Tucker Carlson.

And despite Trump currently facing a massive $250 million civil fraud trial in the state of New York, he seemed to be in good spirits on Saturday night, waving to the crowd and giving thumbs-ups to those in attendance.

Trump was given a strong ovation as he entered the arena for the event with the crowd eventually chanting “USA!” as the former president made his way to his seat. Trump was given another ovation when he was shown on the video board at one point during the event.

This certainly is not the first time that Trump has attended a UFC event as he has a close relationship with UFC president and CEO Dana White. It’s safe to say this probably won’t be the last UFC event he attends, either.
