Over the weekend, former United States President Donald Trump got pretty defensive about his physical appearance as he called out a fake photograph of him circulating around social media that made him out to be more obese than he really is. But in a pretty shocking turn of events, it looks like that insecurity about his physical appearance has caused Trump to wear a device that makes him look less obese than he really is.
In a post on Truth Social this week, Donald Trump called out a fake image of him on social media, comparing it to recent photographs of him hitting golf balls where he looked less obese.
“The Fake News used Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to create the picture on the top left. These are despicable people, but everyone knows that. The other pictures are me hitting Golf balls today to show the difference. Sadly, in our Country, Fake News is all you get!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
But as Ron Filipkowski pointed out on social media, a recent photograph of Trump appears to show the former president wearing a girdle – a device that sits around his waist to compress his stomach and make him look slimmer.

“You can see the outline of the top of his girdle when this woman hugs him,” Filipkowski said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
It would certainly be quite hypocritical of Trump to complain about his weight being misrepresented while wearing a girdle to conceal his obesity.
