United States Olympic legend Caitlyn Jenner is one of the most famous and recognizable transgender individuals on the planet, but she’s not happy with United States President Joe Biden for celebrating the transgender community on Easter Sunday.
On Saturday, Caitlyn Jenner – who won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon before her tradition – expressed her outrage at United Stares President Joe Biden for declaring Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility even though it was Easter Sunday for Christians.
“I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days – a self proclaimed devout Catholic – as Transgender Day of Visibility. The only thing you should be declaring on this day is ‘HE is Risen,’” Jenner said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
It’s worth nothing that Biden did not simply declare Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility. The day has regularly been observed on March 31 for the past several years, it just so happens to fall on Easter this year.
However, that did not seem to stop Jenner from expressing her outage at Biden and his administration for the decision to observe the day on Sunday.
