As the Team USA Women’s Basketball team attempts to defend its Gold Medal at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games later this summer, one notable player has officially been left off of the team’s roster: Indian Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark.
According to a report from NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic, Caitlin Clark has not been selected as a member of Team USA for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Obviously, this will be a disappointing decision for Clark as the team appears to be going with a veteran-heavy lineup as they look to defend their title.
Team USA has won gold at the Olympics all but one year going back to 1984, winning Gold in 2984, 1988, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.
The only time in four decades where the team did not win a Gold Medal came in 1992 when the team finished with a Bronze Medal after a disappointing showing.
