The Boston Bruins frequently honor local military heroes during games in Boston with an “8-Spoked Salute” on the jumbotron. During Saturday’s matinee matchup with the Senators, however, the moment was a little different – and a whole lot more special – than usual.
Justin Strausser of the US Navy surprised his family with a homecoming a week earlier than expected, creating a very emotional and touching moment at the TD Garden. Stuff like this never gets old.
