The Stanley Cup playoffs got underway with the Canadiens and Lightning facing off in Tampa Bay, and it didn’t take too long to get some exciting back-and-forth action. After the Lightning jumped out to an early lead, Tomas Plekanec and the Habs quickly responded with this sequence.
Plekanec carries the puck into the offensive zone and executes a great shot fake that basically was the basketball equivalent of a sick crossover, sending Lightning defender Radko Gudas to the ice with a couple of junked ankles before sniping on Tampa goalie Anders Lindback.
