Sydney Crosby was able to pull off some magic when his Penguins beat the Devils 5-2 on Sunday. Crosby took a pass while skating backwards heading towards the Devils zone and with one hand he redirected the puck past the Devils defender and through the blue zone to stay onside and he completed the one on one against Martin Brodeur.
“Great goal,” coach Dan Bylsma said. “A big goal for us. It’s not unlike Sidney Crosby to pull that off.”
“I think I was probably caught too far ahead of the play, and that was my only chance really getting it by him,” Crosby said.
